Welcome to our new website. The Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) began ministering in Portugal in 1980. Greater Lisbon Christian Academy was established during the early years of ABWE’s ministry in this country.  The school has been providing a quality education for missionary children for more than 25 years.  Knowing that their children are being adequately prepared academically has given missionaries more time to dedicate to their ministries here in Portugal.
